The landscapes in the 4Seasons exhibition at MK Gallery are selections from the French, Italian, and Vienna, VA series and were completed over a number of years since 2006.  Color is laid over highly textured canvas which not only enhances their intensity but creates unexpected surface effects and adds to the abstracted quality of an otherwise realistic subject.  All work is acrylic on linen.
